The Town of Carrboro is located in Chapel Hill township in southeastern Orange County, North Carolina. Since the mid-1980's, the Town has participated with the Town of Chapel Hill and Orange County in jointly planning for this area (Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan, Joint Planning Agreement and Historic Rogers Road Task Force).
